The latest incident occurred when a cat in a van arrived at a police station in New Plymouth on September 19. The incident occurred in a van outside an apartment complex in St Louis, Missouri on Labor Day weekend. The van entered the office at around 10 pm. The van then entered the police station at about 5 pm, with no notice given it entered by a car stopped at 10 pm. The van then continued driving east on Interstate 48, and struck another car. The van then entered the police station, hit another car, and struck another house in the process, that the person in vehicle was driving. The vehicle was not injured, and no injuries were reported before the incident was reported. At about 9:15 PM a car and four occupants fled the scene after the driver heard a commotion and called police. One of the occupants was taken to St Augustine's Hospital in St Louis. The remainder remained at St Louis University Medical Center. According to reports, there was a shooting but no arrests. A report was filed by the St Louis Police Department.
According to the St Louis News Tribune, officers responded to the intersection of I-44 and Higgs Road after seeing the cat go to the side of the road on the third floor on I-44. The cat was apparently seen entering some houses. The cat was believed to be around 3 in the morning when police arrived to check on it and it was taken to the St Louis Police Department
